Hair is the whole game

One hair in the tub or on a pillow undoes an otherwise flawless turnover, because it is the one thing that reads as somebody else was here. Shower walls, the drain surround, and the bed itself get checked deliberately, not incidentally.

Under and behind

Under the bed, behind the nightstand, and the underside of the toilet seat. These are the three places guests find things and the three a rushed turnover misses, because none of them are visible while standing up.

Presentation is not decoration

Folded towels and a made bed are not a flourish — they are the signal that someone competent was in the room. It is the first thing a guest sees and it colours everything they notice afterwards.

Photograph the finish

A photo report at completion protects both sides. It shows the unit was delivered clean, and it timestamps any damage that was already there — which matters the first time a guest disputes something.

The window is the constraint

Checkout at eleven, check-in at four. Everything above has to fit inside five hours including travel, which is why turnover work is a process rather than a general clean.
